BURNS X ELLIE GOULDING - MIDAS TOUCH

DAMN! So I just blogged this one on the official site, but this is incredibly GOOD... DON'T MISS IT....

Sometimes great records just don't make the cut, and when you hear Burns x Ellie Goulding "Midas Touch", I guarantee you'll be as surprised as I was that this didn't make Halcyon! I'm pretty sure there was a good reasoning behind the decision, but surely this would have been one of the best tracks on the album? Thankfully this one did however make the grade for The Halcyon deluxe version, which will be released on August 26th. For the meantime, enjoy the music below!

LORDE FT. GILBERTE FORTE - ROYALS (RAAK REMIX)

Wherever you are reading this in the world, I'm pretty sure we can all agree that 16 year old LORDE is one hell of a talent. The New Zealand up-and-comer is certainly making some noise right now with her most recent record, entitled "Royals". The record has already surpassed the 4Million mark on YouTube, so its safe to say the Lorde phenomenon is moving fast. Bangladeshi producer RAAK turns "Royals" into something different, adding Gilberte Forte to the record and adding some major instrumental changes. Add this one straight to your weekend playlist!

CHLOE MARTINI & PENTHOUSE PENTHOUSE - CLOSER

Better late than never on this one, with this one being a number of weeks old! Chloe Martini is a name I've long followed, and truth be told she's now receiving the plaudits she deserves. I heard this one on the airwaves of BBC's 1xtra and wondered how I missed it?! Penthouse Penthouse & Chloe Martini link up for "Closer", a infectious record which features a sample from the UK's former popstar Jamelia! This one is niiice!

LONDON GRAMMAR - WICKED GAME (CHRIS ISAAK COVER)

London Grammar blow us away with this superb new cover to Chris Isaak's popular single "Wicked Game". Hannah Reid's voice is total perfection on this one, but we couldn't not mention that guitar! Hats off to all involved!

NAS - IF I RULED THE WORLD (STWO & FITZ REMIX)

"If I Ruled the World" is still getting bumped today, over 17 years since its release! Times evidently flies, don't we know it! However the great hit hip hop single by Nas featuring Lauryn Hill today receives an eclectic twist. The record was Nas's first Top 20 R&B hit and also received a official video served up by Hype Williams. STWO & FITZ serve up an inspiring remix of “If I Ruled The World“, the two producers giving this one a downtempo vibe!
